To help improve skills locally, drive up productivity and business performance, the LLEP has created a Digital Skills Partnership (DSP). Over 50 local partners applied to join the partnership and we have representatives from education, business, the voluntary sector and universities, including some real experts in the field of digital skills.
Task based groups are looking at practical help for local businesses – how to find the training and skills needed and how that will translate into everyday business benefits. Digitisation has turned from a “nice to have” to a “must-have” so the LLEP is putting the support in place for businesses to unlock their potential by getting more savvy with the digital tools and workforce skills needed for a modern world.
