The Leicester Graduate City Project is focused on identifying developmental graduate internships for 2nd Year Undergraduates across several priority sectors in local SME’s where higher level skills will be needed in the future to support Leicester’s economy. Underpinning this is the need to raise awareness amongst students of the opportunities available within the City for employment upon graduation.
Collaborative working between the Universities’ and SME’s enables the identification of solutions to technical and professional skills gaps in the locality.
